What do you see when you look out the window? Flowers on the verge of wilting without sun? Loneliness and isolation despite incessant digital connectivity? A distant memory of peace and tranquility? Constant reminders of an embattled political landscape pulling people further apart? A window to society, indeed. That's what I see. But sometimes, maybe on a Saturday, I see flowers thriving in an adverse climate. I see people thinking, reflecting, and soul searching. I see a dream for serenity that is worth fighting for, so we put up signs reminding us of the pitfalls we must avoid. A window to society, indeed. What do you see?
