The man in the shadows walked through a dark path, going through dark valleys for the last time, remembering what life felt like.
The man in the shadows left a part of him everywhere he went, every single place took a part of his soul. You could see the effect that this city had on him, on every person that set their foot on these streets.
This man was ready to move on to somewhere new, he had no idea what was next, he did not have a clue.
So he packed up his things, called the truck and said "I'm ready".
And just like that, he disappeared, and just like a shadow, he was nowhere to be seen.
And that was the last of him, we don't know where he went, but something is clear, from now on, the man in the shadows is just a memory.
And the story goes on from soul to soul, future generations will talk about him when they're old.
And everyone wonders what was of this man, how did he leave a mark so huge and so rare.
Finally, as everything should, this story has come to an end, just like the life of this man.
An hour ago they found his body, and I'm glad that this troubled soul can finally rest.
