Five Card Story: A Walk Down Memory Lane

about this story
As I am walking to my hotel on my last night in Los Angeles, I take a look up at the beautiful sunset. On my way there, I pass stores filled with all kinds of sweets, the smells lingering at my nose. I pass my Aunt's big, beautiful 3 story house and I spot her staring out the window and smiling at me. I begin to smile and wave and I read her lips, "I love you" is what she says. Now passing the next house, I see her neighbor's son standing behind their house and staring deep into the woods. I stop and watch the boy, and then he turns around and waves at me. I smile and wave back and once again I begin walking. A few walks later, I arrive at the hotel. 5 minutes later, I am in the room paking and getting ready to have a good night's sleep. The next morning, it is time for me to catch my flight home. As I am on the plane, I think about my walk home the night before, stare out the window, and begin to smile and think about my stay in LA.
