about this story

In the first photo, represents was a philosopher who knew the reality about human nature, David Hume described that human are influenced by their feelings rather than the reasons. Second photo shows that he aimed to become an intellectual person that would make his selling books to the public. At his first book, he received cold response from the people but at his second publication, fortunately he found his audience. For the next photo, it can describe a person’s action in accordance to his feelings. Hume believed that normally people train their minds to be rational, but a person is more motivated by their feelings. Relatedly, the fourth photo which a person stands for his beliefs or his own action that can be observed of him being rational because of his consistency in his actions. Lastly, a photo of library was shown that represent the firm belief the significance of public intellectuals and their influence on the general public.
